Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) is a game where you can’t compromise your ping at all costs, that’s why you need to make sure that correct server is being played. Officially, CS2 does not allow region changes as other games, but there are a few workarounds you can try to get it done.
Here are the two methods:
Max Acceptable Matchmaking Ping Trick:
- In game menu, click the setting icon and go to Game settings.
- Proceed to the Max acceptable matchmaking ping section as shown in image.
- Look for the server which is giving the least ping.
- Enter the ping slightly higher than what that server is giving.
- This way you will matchmake only into the server with least ping.
That was the first method to select server from within game settings.
